The Ministry of Education has been running for over 12 years the national social protection program "High School Money," which provides financial support to students in high schools and vocational art and trade schools.

For students who wish to obtain this financial support, we have launched the High School Money portal, which, together with the discussion forum dedicated to this national program, represents an effective means of information.

The beneficiaries are students who are dependent on families whose gross monthly income per family member, achieved in the last 3 months prior to submitting the application, is a maximum of 500 lei, as well as students who benefit from a protective measure or are under guardianship or trusteeship, in case the above-mentioned income condition is met.

The documents shall be submitted as copies, provided that, at the time of submission, the applicant also presents the original documents.

IMPORTANT!

By adopting Government Decision 712/2018 (attached), starting with the 2018-2019 school year, each beneficiary will receive monthly, during the entire course period, provided that all stipulated legal conditions are met, the amount of 250 lei/month.
Along with the indexation of this amount (from 180 lei/month), the value of the maximum threshold for granting the scholarship was also increased from 150 lei to 500 lei/family member, given the necessity to correlate the support threshold with the current economic situation.
