In accordance with:

Title XIV - Exercise of the profession of pharmacist. Organization and operation of the College of Pharmacists of Romania

Art. 592

(3) Interruption of the practice of the profession of pharmacist for a period longer than 5 years automatically entails the loss of the status of member of the CFR.
(4) New registration can only be done under the conditions of this law and with the favorable opinion of the National Council of the CFR.

Art. 142

(4) Re-registration within the College of Pharmacists of Romania and resumption of professional activity after an interruption of the practice of the profession for more than 5 years can only be done under the conditions of the law and with the favorable opinion of the National Council of the College of Pharmacists of Romania, granted on the basis of a professional re-assessment organized by the Professional-Scientific and Teaching Commission.

Required documents:

• Application for taking the professional competence re-assessment exam;

• Copy of National ID;

• Copy of bachelor's diploma.

• Proof of payment of the fee of 500 lei for taking the professional re-assessment exam for the purpose of practicing the profession of pharmacist after an interruption of more than 5 years, according to Art. 1 letter d) from Decision No. 1/21.11.2024 Published in Official Gazette No. 1.249/11.12.2024
  
  

• The fee of 500 lei is collected by the College of Pharmacists of Romania, according to Art. 3 from Decision No. 1/21.11.2024 Published in Official Gazette No. 1.249/11.12.2024 and can be paid in cash on the day of the exam or by bank transfer (in one of the accounts of the College of Pharmacists of Romania, posted in the section Contact) upon submission of the file for taking the professional competence re-assessment exam.

› The file containing the required documents is submitted to the CFR headquarters for scheduling the exam.

› CFR issues a certificate mentioning the result obtained at the exam.

› At the territorial College the following must be submitted:

- the certificate issued by the CFR confirming passing the professional competence re-assessment exam;

- Copy of National ID;

- Copy of bachelor's diploma.
