This procedure aims to establish the norms, rules, and instructions for ensuring the proper conduct of automated recognition activities, by the “Grigore T. Popa” University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Iași, of teaching positions in higher education obtained in accredited higher education institutions abroad.

Entitled persons

Persons who wish to carry out teaching activities as invited associate teaching staff, for participation in the selection committees for vacant teaching and research positions or other teaching activities, may request the recognition by UMF Iași of teaching positions in university education obtained in accredited foreign university institutions.

Law no. 200 of 2004 regarding the recognition of diplomas and professional qualifications for regulated professions in Romania with subsequent amendments and additions*

The applicant may file an appeal within 3 working days from the communication of the evaluation result of the recognition file. The appeal must be submitted in writing, according to the template included in the procedure, uploaded to the platform and/or sent to the e-mail address

The appeals committee meets within a maximum of 3 working days from receiving the appeal and within 5 working days communicates to the applicant, by e-mail, the solution to the submitted appeal. The recognition decision may be challenged in court, in accordance with the applicable legal rules.
