The suspension of membership status is effected when the applicant, the pharmacist, for certain reasons wishes to interrupt their activity for a certain period of time and submits to the headquarters of the Territorial College, namely the Bucharest College of Pharmacists, a request seeking the suspension of membership status. At the time of requesting this suspension, the pharmacist must have paid the membership fee up to the end of the year and must meet the requirement for continuing professional education by completing 40 EFC hours for that period.
The pharmacist is obliged to inform the College of Pharmacists of Romania within 30 days from resuming their activity.
