The suspension of membership is effected when the applicant, the pharmacist, for certain reasons wishes to interrupt their activity for a certain period of time and submits to the headquarters of the Territorial College, respectively the Bucharest College of Pharmacists, a request in which they ask for the suspension of their membership. At the moment of requesting this suspension, the pharmacist must have paid the membership fee until the end of the year and must meet the continuous professional training condition by having a number of 40 EFC hours for the respective period.

The pharmacist undertakes to inform the Romanian College of Pharmacists within 30 days from resuming activity.
