The local or county council - as applicable - under whose authority the national tourist information and promotion center operates, requests the issuance of the accreditation certificate from the central public institution responsible for tourism, with documentation containing the specific content specified in the Required Documents section.
The accreditation documentation is checked for fulfillment of accreditation criteria and the accreditation certificate is prepared, according to the model presented in the Final Documents section. The issuance of the accreditation certificate is done within a maximum of 30 days from the date of registration of the complete documentation. If the national tourist information and promotion center does not meet all the criteria for accreditation, the interested local or county council, as applicable, will be informed in writing, within the same timeframe. In the case of incomplete documentation, the central public institution responsible for tourism informs the applicant about the need to submit the missing documents. If within 180 days from the date of informing the applicant, the documentation is not completed, it will be archived.
