In accordance with OG 82/2000, amended and approved by Law 222/2003, with subsequent amendments and completions, and with OMTCT 2.131/2005, with subsequent amendments and completions, RAR certifies/recertifies the professional competence of the workshop manager(s) in the field of repair and/or functional adjustment of road vehicles, of workshops for the dismantling of end-of-life vehicles, as well as in the field of chassis and/or bodywork replacement for road vehicles, with the exception of workshops conducting activities of replacing operational materials, replacing and repairing tires and inner tubes, wheel balancing, and replacing engine exhaust gas systems - mufflers without catalytic systems.

This procedure describes the requirements considered for the registration of applicants in the professional competence certification program organized by RAR, a program that concludes with a theoretical examination and the issuance of the certification certificate, valid for 3 years.
