The procedure establishes the rules and instructions by which, at the request of the data subjects, the automatic recognition by Adventus University in Cernica (UA) of the academic teaching positions obtained in:

a) accredited higher education institutions from member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, or the Swiss Confederation;

b) prestigious universities from other countries included in the List of prestigious universities from other states, approved by order of the relevant minister and periodically updated (Order no. 5462/2018);

c) other accredited higher education institutions abroad than those mentioned, only based on an international agreement of mutual recognition, concluded at intergovernmental or interuniversity level.

The procedure applies to:

a) Romanian citizens;

b) citizens of member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, of the Swiss Confederation;

c) citizens of third countries.

The recognition of the teaching position based on this procedure is valid and produces legal effects only at the level of Adventus University and is carried out for the purpose of:

a) temporarily occupying vacant teaching positions, as an associate teaching staff;

b) participating in a competition for the occupation of a vacant teaching position within UA – with employment for an indefinite period;

c) participating in competition commissions for the occupation of vacant teaching and research positions within UA.
