This procedure is aimed at defining the standards, rules and instructions regulating the proper conduct of the activities of automatic recognition, by “Grigore T. Popa” University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Iasi, of the academic teaching positions obtained in accredited foreign higher education institutions.

Entitled persons

The recognition by UMF Iași of teaching positions obtained in accredited higher education institutions abroad, persons who wish to perform the teaching activity as invited associate teacher, for participation in the competition commissions for filling vacant teaching and research positions or other teaching activities may be requested.

The applicant may challenge the resolution within 3 working days of the notification of the assessment outcome. The appeal/objection (standard document according to Appendix 2 to the procedure) must be submitted on the PCUe platform and/or sent to the following email address rectorat@umfiasi.ro. The Appeals Committee shall be convened within 3 working days of the reception of the appeal. The petitioner is notified, via e-mail, within 5 working days of the date on which the members of the Committee met. Any applicant who is unsatisfied with the final outcome may submit the case for settlement by the courts of law.
