Implement OME 5.956/2024 of August 13, 2024 for the approval of the Methodology regarding the automatic recognition of the quality of doctoral supervisor obtained in higher education or research-development institutions abroad.

The categories of persons to whom it is addressed:
Eligible to submit applications for the recognition of the quality of doctoral supervisor in sciences or in a professional field are applicants who have obtained the quality of doctoral supervisor at:
a) specialists who hold the quality of doctoral supervisor in one of the member states of the European Union or the European Economic Area or in the Swiss Confederation automatically acquire the quality of doctoral supervisor in Romania through the recognition and issuance of the habilitation recognition certificate by IOSUD-ASE;
b) specialists who hold the quality of doctoral supervisor in one of the higher education institutions outside the countries provided for in letter a), being among the most prestigious higher education institutions in the world, according to the provisions of the Order of the Minister of Education regarding the approval of the list of prestigious universities from other states, automatically acquire the quality of doctoral supervisor in Romania through the recognition and issuance of the habilitation recognition certificate by IOSUD-ASE;
c) specialists who are doctoral supervisors within institutions abroad, other than those provided for in letter a) or b), acquire the quality of doctoral supervisor in Romania through the recognition and issuance of the habilitation recognition certificate by IOSUD-ASE based on an international mutual recognition agreement.
