Suspension of membership occurs when the applicant, the pharmacist, for certain reasons wishes to interrupt their activity for a certain period of time and submits to the headquarters of the territorial College, namely the College of Pharmacists Valcea, an application requesting the suspension of membership. When requesting this suspension, the pharmacist must have paid the dues up to the end of the year and must meet the requirement of continuous professional training with a total of 40 EFC hours for that period.

The pharmacist is obliged to inform the College of Pharmacists of Romania within 30 days of resuming activity.
