Persons who meet the conditions for granting the child-raising allowance (have earned income from salaries and salary-like sources, income from independent activities, income from agricultural, forestry, and fishery activities, subject to income tax, or have been in assimilated periods, for at least 12 months in the last 24 months prior to the child's birth or, as the case may be, the date on which the adoption was approved, placement was made or guardianship was established) can benefit from the insertion incentive.

To be granted the insertion incentive, the applicant must submit a request accompanied by supporting documents to the city hall of their domicile or residence. The required documents include:

• a copy of the identity card and the child’s birth certificate;
• documents attesting the relationship between the applicant and the child (in cases of placement, adoption, etc.);
• proof of income earned;
• documents confirming fulfillment of the minimum contribution period;
• the document certifying suspension of activity for the child-raising leave;
• other documents necessary to verify eligibility.
