Emergency aid can be granted to families and single persons who have their domicile or residence in the commune of Grădinari, whose net monthly incomes are lower than the expenses necessary to overcome the situation for which the aid is requested and who are in one or more of the following situations of socio-economic vulnerability that may lead to the risk of social exclusion: have serious health problems proven by medical documents; have been evicted/are at imminent risk of eviction; a person from the family benefiting from social aid or from a low-income family who has not received death benefit from another institution has died; have children attending school, adult pupils or students, for the purpose of: paying school fees and/or other expenses arising from attending an educational institution, purchasing supplies and/or clothing for them, or paying expenses arising from participation in a certain competition or at the award ceremony of a prize won; live in conditions unsuitable for a decent living, in houses degraded due to extreme poverty and need support to improve living conditions, to repair homes and to connect to water and electricity networks or are homeless; are in situations of need as a result of the destruction of real estate and movable property caused by fires or floods.

Emergency aid cannot be granted to single persons/families who own one or more of the following assets: buildings or other living spaces apart from the domicile and household annexes; land surrounding the home and the associated yard and other intravilan land exceeding 1,000 sqm; car/cars and/or motorcycle/motorcycles less than 10 years old except for those adapted for persons with disabilities or intended for their transport or for dependents as well as for the use of persons in hard-to-reach areas; more than one car/motorcycle older than 10 years; vehicles: vans, trucks of any kind with or without trailers, caravans, buses, minibuses; bank deposits with a value exceeding 3,000 lei (in which case a self-statement will be given referring to the provisions of art. 326 of the Criminal Code regarding false declarations).

Recent medical documents, recommendations from the specialist physician, accompanied by documents issued by the competent authorities in the field of health social insurance, showing that the medical investigations, surgical interventions, medication treatments, medical supplies or necessary therapies, recommended by the specialist physician, are not covered by the health social insurance system, or, if they are partially covered, the amount should be mentioned; a copy of the document based on which approval for treatment abroad was granted, supporting documents regarding the necessary expenses to be incurred, issued by the medical service provider who will perform the surgical intervention/post-operative treatment, translated by an authorized translator, documents issued by the competent authorities in the field of health social insurance stating that these are not covered by the health social insurance system. Supporting medical documents may also include, as applicable: proforma invoices/receipts/fiscal receipts, certificates issued by sanitary authorities, letters, medical certificates or prescriptions, etc.*
