Details
The state allowance for children is a form of state protection granted to all children, without discrimination.
(2) All children up to the age of 18 are entitled to the state allowance for children.
(3) The state allowance for children is also granted to young people who have reached the age of 18 and are attending high school or vocational education courses organized according to the law, until graduation.
(4) The young people mentioned in paragraph (3) who repeat a school year are not entitled to the state allowance, except for those who repeat due to health reasons, proven by a medical certificate.
The children of foreign citizens and stateless persons residing in Romania, under the conditions of the law, benefit from the state allowance for children if they live together with their parents.
