The issuance of the Current Professional Certificate is done based on Decision 14/2018 of the National Council of the Romanian College of Physicians.
The current professional certificate is issued by the Romanian College of Physicians, through the territorial college of the C.M.R. of which the doctor is or was a member, the information being valid for the period in which the doctor is or was registered with that college.
If the doctor was a member of the CMR in two or more territorial colleges, they will obtain a current professional certificate from each of these colleges.
For the issuance of the current professional certificate at the request of the doctor, they must submit the following documents to the competent territorial college:
a) standard application form
b) proof of identity (certified copy “in accordance with the original” of the identity card/passport);
c) proof of payment of the fee into the account of the territorial college issuing the document, the amount being established by decision of the Council at the level of each territorial college.
The documents may also be sent by postal or courier services, as well as by electronic means with digital signature.
The document will be issued within a maximum of 30 days from the date of submission of the complete documentation.
The current professional certificate is valid for a period of 3 months from the date of issuance.
