Procedure description
The services of the social assistance canteen are granted free of charge to people who have no income or whose income is below the net monthly income level for a single person, taken into account when establishing social assistance.
Entitled persons who may benefit from the services of the social assistance canteen and whose income exceeds the net monthly income level for a single person, taken into account when establishing social assistance, may benefit from the services of the social assistance canteen by paying a contribution of 30% of the income per person, without exceeding the cost of the meals served, calculated over the same period.
For the social services of the social assistance canteen, work-capable family members must perform 72 hours per month of actions or works of local interest, without exceeding the normal work schedule; failure to fulfill this obligation leads to the suspension of the social assistance canteen, and if this obligation is not fulfilled within 3 months from suspension, the granting of the social assistance canteen ceases.
Beneficiaries
Children up to 18 years of age, who come from families benefiting from social assistance and social assistance canteen, being under the care of those families whose net average monthly income per person is below the net monthly income level for a single person, taken into account when establishing social assistance and who provide proof of attending full-time courses at an educational institution.
Granting of the right
Meals at the social assistance canteen are granted based on a self-declaration applicationunder one's own responsibility, accompanied by supporting documents regarding the family composition, the income obtained in the month prior to the application by its members, and the assets held, including in other administrative-territorial units.
