This procedure regulates the manner in which the registration of documents concluded abroad is carried out – the transcription of civil status certificates/extracts

The data is collected for the purpose of updating the National Register of Persons

Transcription requests are submitted in person, by the holders or their legal representatives, at the headquarters of the Civil Status Departmentă, located in the municipality of Bârlad, Bd. Epureanu no. 24-26, Vaslui County. Working hours: MONDAY-FRIDAY between 08:30-12:00.

Married persons submit the request for the transcription of the marriage certificate/extract simultaneously with the request for the transcription of the birth certificate/extract, including the birth certificate for the minor child.

The resolution period for requests regarding the transcription of civil status certificates/extracts is 30 days from the date of registration of the request, according to art. 41 para.(5^1) of Law 119/1996 regarding civil status documents.

Fees: transcription file processing: 18 lei – paid at the Bârlad City Hall cashier.
