The membership certificate of the College of Physicians of Romania is issued and released by the territorial college of the College of Physicians of Romania in whose jurisdiction the applicant physician has, as appropriate, their domicile/residence or workplace/unit where they are to carry out their activity.
The membership certificate of the College of Physicians of Romania is granted upon request to the persons provided in art. 376, para. (1) of Law no. 95/2006 regarding health sector reform, republished, with subsequent amendments and completions, who cumulatively meet the following conditions:
a) hold an official qualification in medicine, according to art. 377, para. (3) of Law no. 95/2006 regarding health sector reform, republished, with subsequent amendments and completions;b) are not in any of the cases of unworthiness or incompatibility provided by law;c) are medically fit to practice the medical profession;d) have not interrupted the practice of the profession for more than 5 years or have obtained their bachelor's degree in the last 5 years.
