The membership certificate of the Romanian College of Physicians is issued and delivered by the territorial college of the Romanian College of Physicians in whose jurisdiction, as the case may be, the applicant physician has their domicile/residence or place of work/unit where they intend to carry out their activity.
The membership certificate of the Romanian College of Physicians is granted upon request to the persons provided in art. 376, par. (1) of Law no. 95/2006 regarding health sector reform, republished, with subsequent amendments and completions, who cumulatively fulfill the following conditions:
a) hold an official medical qualification title, within the meaning of art. 377, par. (3) of Law no. 95/2006 regarding health sector reform, republished, with subsequent amendments and completions; b) are not found in any of the cases of unworthiness or incompatibility provided by law; c) are medically fit to practice the medical profession; d) have not ceased practicing the profession for more than 5 years or have obtained their bachelor's degree in the last 5 years.
