If the holder of the gun permit changes their domicile, residence, or, as the case may be, place of residency, they have the obligation to request the updating of the information entered in the gun permit at the territorial competent Arms, Explosives and Dangerous Substances unit, in whose records they are listed after establishing the new address.

For the purpose of updating the gun permit, the applicant submits a request accompanied by the following documents:

• the identity document, in original, indicating the new domicile or residence;
• the gun permit, in original;
• as the case may be, proof of legal possession of the space where the weapons will be stored, according to the provisions of the Methodological Norms for the application of Law 295/2004 regarding the regime of weapons and ammunition, approved by HG no. 11/2018.

The original documents are returned on the spot, after making the necessary copies.
