The membership certificate of the College of Physicians of Romania is issued and released by the territorial college of the College of Physicians of Romania in whose jurisdiction the applicant physician, as the case may be, has their domicile/residence or place of work/unit where they are to carry out their activity. - The membership certificate of the College of Physicians of Romania is granted, upon request, to the persons provided for in art. 376, para. (1) of Law no. 95/2006 regarding health care reform, republished, with subsequent amendments and completions, who cumulatively meet the following conditions:

a) hold an official medical qualification, within the meaning of art. 377, para. (3) of Law no. 95/2006 regarding healthcare reform, republished, with subsequent amendments and completions;

b) are not found in any of the cases of unworthiness or incompatibility provided by law;

c) are medically fit to practice the medical profession;

d) have not interrupted the practice of the profession for more than 5 years or have obtained their bachelor's degree in the last 5 years.
