The application for registration will be drafted in Romanian and will contain information regarding the expert: surname, first name, personal identification number, citizenship, home address in the EU or EEA member state or in the Swiss Confederation and, if applicable, residence address in Romania, the expert's specialization, phone, fax, e-mail, internet page. The application for registration must be submitted in the original.*

The applicant will submit the criminal record certificate, valid within its period of validity. Romanian citizens will submit the original criminal record certificate. Citizens of a European Union member state, other than Romania, will submit the criminal record certificate accompanied by the multilingual standard form – a translation aid [Annex No. XI to Regulation (EU) 2016/1191]. Citizens of member states of the European Economic Area or the Swiss Confederation will submit the criminal record certificate apostilled or legalized, as applicable, accompanied by its legalized translation.*

The applicant will submit a declaration on their own responsibility stating that they have full capacity of exercise, written in Romanian. The declaration on own responsibility will be submitted in original.*

The document certifying the acquisition of the professional qualification of judicial technical expert in the country of origin shall be submitted in a legalized copy or in a copy certified for conformity with the original and signed by the designated person from the Ministry of Justice. If the document is issued in a language other than Romanian, a legalized translation of the respective document into Romanian shall also be submitted.*

Proof of citizenship of one of the member states of the EU or belonging to the European Economic Area or of the citizenship of the Swiss Confederation shall be provided with the identity document and, if necessary, with another document proving citizenship. The document shall be submitted in copy.*

The applicant will submit a recommendation regarding professional and social good reputation, obtained from the workplace, professional associations in the field, or, as appropriate, from other organizations and institutions with which they have collaborated. The recommendation must be submitted in original. If the document is issued in a language other than Romanian, a legalized translation into Romanian of the respective document must also be submitted.*

The applicant shall submit the cash payment receipt, the payment order by bank transfer or the document generated following the payment of the judicial stamp duty online in the amount of 100 lei. The payment document shall be submitted in original.*
