According to Art. 4 para. 2 of the Procedure regarding the acquisition, maintenance, loss of membership of the National Association of Authorized Valuers of Romania, as well as other provisions regarding changes in the membership status of this association, a natural person with the citizenship of another member state of the European Union or a state belonging to the European Economic Area or the Swiss Confederation who has acquired the status of authorized valuer in one of these states may acquire the status of full member of the Association if they meet the following conditions:

a. to hold a document issued by the competent authority of the member state of the European Union, respectively the state belonging to the European Economic Area/Swiss Confederation, from which it results that the citizen of these states legally practices the profession of authorized valuer

b. not to have been definitively convicted for committing an intentional crime

c. to have paid the registration fee in the amount and within the deadlines established by the Board of Directors

d. to have concluded a professional civil liability insurance contract for valuation activity, with a minimum liability limit of 10,000 euros, according to the Decision of the Board of Directors no. 10/2012.
