Issuing the principle approval concerning the placement of urban furniture intended for displaying food products such as fruits and vegetables, on land owned by private individuals or legal entities, unfenced and with public access*

This preliminary approval allows merchants, natural or legal persons (authorized to carry out activities of selling food products such as fruits and vegetables) to carry out the activity of displaying products on urban furniture, intended for this purpose, placed on land that is privately owned by natural or legal persons, unenclosed and with public access.

In order to obtain the preliminary approval regarding the placement of urban furniture intended for displaying food products such as fruits and vegetables, the merchant will address the City Hall of Cluj-Napoca by submitting a standard application. This is registered at least 30 days prior to the start of the activity. The standard application shall include the merchant’s identification details: merchant’s name, registered office, CUI, registration number at the Trade Register Office, representative, as well as the address of the business location in front of which the placement of the street furniture is desired. This standard application is accompanied by documentation that includes documents established by the local authority’s regulatory acts.

The structure responsible for the application is the Municipal Heritage and Property Records Directorate, Trade Authorizations Service. The municipality’s preliminary approval is issued for an indefinite period.
