The "Professional Scholarship" is a national social program aimed at all students attending vocational education and consists of monthly financial support.
Foreigners’ children who benefit from a form of protection in Romania, or the children of foreigners, respectively citizens of the European Union/the European Economic Area and the Swiss Confederation with the right of stay/residence on the territory of Romania, who attend vocational education, also benefit from the "Professional Scholarship".
Students in vocational education cannot simultaneously benefit from the "Professional Scholarship" and the financial support granted to students under the national social protection program "Money for High School".
At the level of the Ministry of Education, a national commission is established to monitor the awarding of the "Professional Scholarship".
