The "Professional scholarship" is a national social program addressed to all students attending professional education and consists of monthly financial support.
The "Professional scholarship" is also granted to children of foreigners who benefit from a form of protection in Romania or to foreigners, respectively citizens of the European Union/Economic European Area and of the Swiss Confederation with the right of stay/residence on the territory of Romania, who attend professional education.
Students in professional education cannot simultaneously benefit from the "Professional scholarship" and the financial support granted to students within the National Social Protection Program "High School Money".
At the level of the Ministry of Education, a national committee is established to monitor the granting of the "Professional scholarship".
