This procedure describes how individuals, nationals of other Member States of the European Union (EU) or European Economic Area (EEA) may apply for approval without examination in Romania in order to provide site supervision activities. Project supervisor is an individual employed by investor / beneficiary, having the obligation of ensuring verification of correct implementation of construction works throughout the activity works, according to the law. Holding the authorization does not result in the transfer of responsibilities from one to the commissioning body and not relieve one of their obligations.
Entitled persons
Individuals, citizens of another EU or EEA member state who meet the conditions regarding studies and professional experience stipulated by the procedure for authorization as site supervisor based on examination.
*Regulated professions
The profession of construction site supervisor is included in Annex No. 2 - List of regulated professions in Romania of Law No. 200/2004 regarding the recognition of diplomas and professional qualifications for regulated professions in Romania, with subsequent amendments and additions.*

The document will be prepared according to the attached template, in Romanian, will be dated and signed. In the application, applicants will specify the examination center where they wish to take the authorization exam/exams.*

Curriculum vitae will be drawn up according to the common European model provided by the Romanian Government Decision no. 1021/2004, and within the chapter -Professional experience- the most important works in the field will be detailed in order to prove the professional experience conditions provided by the procedure.*

Copy of the document proving citizenship in one of the EU, EEA member states or the Swiss Confederation and copy of the residence documents in Romania, if applicable*

Copy of the valid license/certificate of authorized electrician / authorized installer in natural gas*

Copy of the valid license/certificate of authorized electrician, issued according to the law, by the competent national regulatory authority, holographically certified for conformity with the original by the applicant for the subdomains 8.1 Electrical installations and 9.1 - Electrical networks. Copy of the valid license/certificate of authorized natural gas installer, issued according to the law, by the competent national regulatory authority, holographically certified for conformity with the original by the applicant, for the subdomains 8.3 - Natural gas installations and 9.4 - Natural gas networks. Mandatory documents for applicants who wish to be authorized in the subdomains 8.1/9.1/8.3/9.4. Proof of holding these types of authorizations for at least 5 years must also be submitted.*
