For phonogram producers and importers, registration is carried out according to art.35 of O.G. 25/2006, republished, amended and supplemented by O.U.G 43/2010.

The documents for registration must include the following:

Standard applications: Forms 1,2

Documents: Copies of:

• the certificate of registration with the Trade Register Office
• the tax registration certificate only for legal entities without a patrimonial purpose
• copy of invoice/payment order regarding payment for the registration operation in the registry.

The deadlines for processing applications are provided by art.36, paragraph 1 of O.G. 25/2006, republished, amended and supplemented by O.U.G. 43/2010

• 4 working days for applications sent online
• 10 working days for applications submitted at the headquarters of the Romanian Office for Copyright
• 2 working days for urgent regime.

The fees for registration operations are provided by H.G.1086/2008, being as follows:

• phonogram production activity registration 50 lei
• work point registration 20 lei
• storage space registration 20 lei
• completion request for supplementing missing documents, following rejection of the initial registration application -10 lei.

Payment is made at the ORDA cashier on Calea Victoriei no. 118, 5th floor, sector 1, Bucharest, or into account RO67TREZ7015005XXX000157, opened at Treasury Sector 1.
