Registration of computer programs produced for commercialization on the territory of Romania - urgent procedure*

Authorized natural persons or legal entities, who produce computer programs on the territory of Romania, have the obligation to register all computer programs in the National Register of Computer Programs, before introducing them into the commercial circuit, according to art. 20 para. 3 of G.O. 25/2006 republished, amended and supplemented by G.E.O. 43/2010.
The documents for registration must contain the following:
Standard requests - Forms 8, 9, 10 or 11;
Documents:
- proof of the agreement of the holder of the copyright on the computer programs or a statutory declaration from the author of the programs;
- the model of the license granted on the territory of Romania to users of computer programs;
- one copy of the program, in the form in which it is produced for commercialization;
- if the computer program is not produced for commercialization through specialized stores, a statutory declaration regarding the programs excepted according to art. 31 para. 1 from G.O.25/2006 shall be completed and submitted
- copy of the invoice/payment order proving payment for the registration operation in the register.
The fees for registration operations are provided in H.G.1086/2008, as follows - registration of computer programs produced on the territory of Romania 100 lei/computer program;
- urgent fee, additional charge 300 lei;
- request to complete for completing missing documents, following the rejection of the initial registration request 10 lei.
Payment is made at the ORDA cashier's office on Calea Victoriei no. 118, 5th floor, district 1, Bucharest, or in the account RO67TREZ7015005XXX000157, opened at the Treasury Sector 1, Bucharest, CUI 4266995.
