Details

This procedure describes how specialists - natural persons, certified as energy auditors for buildings, can extend the validity of their right to practice. The energy auditor for buildings carries out their activity as an independent expert, authorized natural person, or as an employee of a legal entity, in accordance with the legislation in force and is obliged to comply with the provisions of the code of conduct for energy auditors for buildings. The status of energy auditor for buildings is proven by the certification issued by the competent authority. The right to practice is proven by the valid ID card, issued by the competent authority together with the certificate of certification.

​Regulated profession: The profession of certified energy auditor for buildings is found at position 12 in Annex no. 2 to Law no. 200/2004 regarding the recognition of diplomas and professional qualifications for regulated professions in Romania, with subsequent amendments and completions.
