I. PRE-UNIVERSITY EDUCATION:

The methodology for the schooling of Romanians abroad in the Romanian state pre-university education on study places without payment of tuition fees but with a scholarship, respectively without payment of tuition fees but without a scholarship starting with the 2017-2018 school year

II. HIGHER EDUCATION:​

1. In the 2018-2019 academic year, state higher education institutions in Romania organize the admission competition for Romanians abroad, including citizens of the Republic of Moldova, for undergraduate/master/doctoral studies, based on university autonomy, similar to the previous year, according to the provisions of the methodology for schooling in higher education;

2. Candidates can opt for any field of study and any state higher education institution in Romania or, in the case of candidates from the Republic of Moldova, within the extensions opened by Romanian universities in Chișinău, Cahul, and Bălți;

3. For ensuring inclusion within the submission deadline established by higher education institutions, we recommend sending the application files exclusively to universities, so as not to generate delays in their takeover/processing, in case they are sent via other channels;

4. Enrollment in accredited state and private higher education in Romania, for places with tuition fees in lei, is based on the provisions of MEN Order no. 4294/29.06.2017;
