The Ministry of Education has been running for over 12 years the national social protection program "High School Money," through which it provides financial support for students in high schools and art and vocational schools.
For students who wish to obtain this financial support, we have launched the High School Money portal, which, together with the discussion forum dedicated to this national program, serves as an effective means of information.
Beneficiaries are students who are in the care of families whose monthly gross income per family member, earned in the last 3 months prior to submitting the application, is a maximum of 500 lei, as well as students who benefit from protective measures or are under guardianship or curatorship, provided the above income condition is met.
The documents will be submitted as copies, provided that, upon submitting the application, the applicant also presents the original documents.
IMPORTANT!
By adopting Government Decision 712/2018 (available attached), starting with the 2018-2019 school year, each beneficiary will receive monthly, throughout the duration of the courses, if all the legal conditions provided are met, the amount of 250 lei/month.
In addition to the indexation of this amount (from 180 lei/month), the maximum threshold for granting the scholarship has also been increased from 150 lei to 500 lei/per family member, given the need to correlate the support threshold with the current economic situation.
