NOTICE!

The College of Physiotherapists of Romania cannot be held responsible for the implementation of GDPR (Regulation no. 679/2016) at the level of the IT system - ROePAS (accessible via the portal www.roepas.ro) managed by the Authority for the Digitalization of Romania (ADR).

Applicants are asked to consult the Terms of Use of the ROePAS portal before submitting a request, which can be found at the bottom of the page or at the following link: https://roepas.ro/ro/condi%C8%9Bii-de-utilizare, as well as the section on the GDPR Policy, which can be found at the bottom of the page or at the following link: https://roepas.ro/ro/gdpr.

This procedure is addressed to members of the College of Physiotherapists of Romania (CFZRO). The European Professional Card is an electronic certificate that certifies either that the professional has met all the necessary conditions to temporarily and occasionally provide services in a host Member State, or the recognition of professional qualifications for establishment in a host Member State.

To facilitate the free movement of physiotherapists within the territory of the EU, the European Commission, based on Regulation 983/2015 regarding the procedure for issuing the European Professional Card and the application of the alert mechanism under Directive 2005/36/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council, provided for the introduction of the European Professional Card (EPC) for physiotherapists.

The purpose of the EPC is to simplify the recognition process and generate cost savings and operational efficiency, for the benefit of professionals and competent authorities.

To obtain the EPC, interested persons can access the " Your Europe" portal, where all the necessary documents for each Member State are published (you can access the Simulator available to consult the list of required documents).

At the national level, the College of Physiotherapists of Romania (CFZRO) is the competent issuing authority and, if applicable, the issuer of the EPC for Physiotherapists, members of CFZRO, designated by Law 229/2016.

If you need assistance, you can contact us at the email address administrativ@cfizio.ro.

All submitted documents must be validated as Authentic and Valid via the IMI System by the authority of the country of origin Member State (in accordance with EPC Regulation 2015/983).

Each requested document (copies of originals, copies of authorized translations) must be uploaded as a single PDF file containing all pages of the document. Additionally, for each uploaded document, the applicant must provide all identification data and the address for each issuing authority.

For details on how to create a user account to submit an EPC file, please access the "Your Europe" website, section "European Professional Card – EPC“.

After logging into the public IMI interface, through a user account registered via the EU-Login platform, documents will be uploaded electronically to the applicant's virtual profile.

For details on how to upload documents to the platform, please access the "User Guide“.

For the verification of the authenticity of certain documents outside the IMI System, you can choose one of the following options:

– Certification "Certified True to Original" of the copies of the original documents presented at our headquarters on Dr. Ernest Juvara St. no. 18, 3rd floor, Sector 6, Bucharest;

– Sending by Post or Courier the copies legalized in Romania of the original documents to the College of Physiotherapists of Romania at Dr. Ernest Juvara St. no. 18, 3rd floor, Sector 6, Bucharest;

– Sending the correspondence address of the issuers of documents that cannot be verified in the IMI system (i.e., certificates of experience/seniority/employee, certificates of participation in courses/seminars, etc.), and in case the issuers do not respond in due time to the request for authenticity confirmation, choosing one of the two aforementioned options.

In the event that some documents cannot be validated as valid and authentic through the IMI system, you must choose one of the above options, otherwise the documents you have submitted cannot be validated as authentic and valid.

FEES:

The processing fee for the EPC application is 200 RON. This will be paid into the CFZRO account: RO58BRDE410SV97037454100, opened at BRD Groupe Societe Generale – Carrefour Orhideea Bucharest Branch, via bank transfer or payment order. The payment details must specify the name of the applicant and the EPC application number. (E.g.: Georgescu Ion EPC 00-0000-00XX).
