Details

The professional maternal assistant is the natural person, certified according to the law, who through the activity carried out at their own home ensures the growth, care, and education necessary for the harmonious development of the children they receive in foster care. Persons residing in the territorial area of Hunedoara county, interested in becoming a professional maternal assistant, submit to the General Directorate of Social Assistance and Child Protection Hunedoara an application for the evaluation of their capacity accompanied by the documents mentioned below.

The application must obligatorily mention the number of children for whom the applicant believes they can simultaneously ensure optimal care conditions, their age group and gender, the availability to care for children with disabilities/impairments, infected with HIV or suffering from AIDS.

The application will include the applicant’s Curriculum Vitae as well as the reasons why they wish to become a professional maternal assistant.

The certificate is issued by the Hunedoara Child Protection Commission, having a validity of 3 years.
