The procedure is addressed to legal entities, authorized individuals, individual enterprises, and family enterprises that wish to obtain authorization to carry out the verification, refilling, and repair of fire extinguishers, except for those containing certain fluorinated gases with greenhouse effect. In accordance with the provisions of art. 51 para 1 of Law no. 307/2006 regarding fire protection, the execution of works in the field of fire protection is performed by authorized persons. The authorization methodology is approved through Order of the Minister of Administration and Internal Affairs no. 87/2010. The authorization is granted for an indefinite period. Authorization is subject to a fee.
