Details

The professional maternal assistant is a natural person, certified under the conditions of Government Decision no. 679/2003, who, through their activity carried out at their home, provides the upbringing, care, and education necessary for the harmonious development of the children they take into foster care.

The person who wishes to become a professional maternal assistant will submit an application for capacity evaluation to DGASPC Ilfov. The application must obligatorily mention the number of children for whom the applicant believes they can simultaneously provide optimal care conditions, their age group and gender, as well as the availability to care for children with disabilities/handicaps, HIV-infected or AIDS patients.
