The procedure applies to Romanian citizens, citizens of European Union member states, of the European Economic Area, from the Swiss Confederation, and citizens of third countries.
Teaching positions in university education obtained in accredited university institutions from European Union member states, the European Economic Area, the Swiss Confederation, and in prestigious universities from other countries included in the List of prestigious universities from other states, approved by order of the Minister of National Education and updated periodically, are automatically recognized by UNAp, according to this operational procedure.
Teaching positions obtained at other accredited university institutions than those mentioned in the previous paragraph are recognized only on the basis of an international mutual recognition agreement, concluded at intergovernmental or inter-university level.
