This procedure regulates the recognition of the doctoral diploma and the title of doctor in sciences or in a professional field, obtained abroad.
The procedure applies to Romanian citizens and citizens of Member States of the European Union, the European Economic Area, and the Swiss Confederation who have obtained the doctoral diploma and the title of doctor in sciences or in a professional field in accredited higher education or research and development institutions included in the "List of prestigious universities from other countries" approved by OMECTS no. 5825/2016 and periodically updated.
The exercise of the rights granted by the recognition of the doctoral diploma and the title of doctor in sciences or in a professional field is carried out according to the legal norms in force.
