Details

The Social Assistance Service ensures the protection of the child who requires the establishment of a protection measure that involves the upbringing, care, and education of children who are deprived of parental care, including children with special needs (children with disabilities, abused/neglected children, children with behavioral disorders, children with chronic illnesses, etc.) by a professional foster caregiver at their own home.

The professional foster caregiver is a natural person, certified for meeting the requirements established by law, as well as additional criteria approved at the DGASPC Caras-Severin level, who, through their activity, ensures the upbringing, care, and education necessary for the harmonious development of the children they accept into foster care.
