The current professional certificate is the document that contains the relevant personal data regarding honorability and morality, including the competence with which dentists practice their profession.

The current professional certificate is issued, upon request, by the College of Dentists of Romania, through the territorial colleges, for the purpose of guaranteeing the quality of the services provided and the safety of the patients in relation to it, based on the provisions of art. 512 para. (1) letter d) of Law no. 95/2006 on health sector reform, republished, with subsequent amendments and additions, of art. 1 of the methodological norms approved by Government Decision no. 1464/2006 regarding the drawing up, issuance and use of proofs of professional honorability and morality for doctors, dentists and pharmacists, as well as Decision of the National Council of the CMSR no. 16/2CN/2019 on the drawing up and issuance of the current professional certificate.
