The suspension of membership takes place when the applicant, the pharmacist, for certain reasons wishes to interrupt their activity for a certain period of time and submits a request at the headquarters of the Territorial College, namely the Bucharest College of Pharmacists, requesting the suspension of membership. At the time of requesting this suspension, the pharmacist must have paid the membership fee up to the end of the year and must meet the requirement of continuous professional development with 40 EFC hours for the respective period.

The pharmacist is obliged to inform the College of Pharmacists of Romania within 30 days from resuming activity.
