This methodology establishes the means by which the recognition of the doctoral diploma and the title of doctor in the field of theology and religious studies obtained abroad is carried out within the Protestant Theological Institute of Cluj-Napoca.
The provisions of this methodology apply to Romanian citizens, citizens of member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, the Swiss Confederation, and citizens of third states who have obtained the doctoral diploma and the title of doctor in theology obtained abroad from accredited university education institutions in member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, the Swiss Confederation, and from prestigious universities in other states included in the "List of prestigious universities from other states," approved by OMECTS no. 5825/2016 and updated periodically.

The appeal is submitted to the Institute's Secretariat within 5 days after the communication of the analysis result. Subsequently, the Institute's final decision can be challenged in court.
