This procedure establishes the method by which IOSUD - UO recognizes the doctoral diploma and the title of doctor in sciences or in a professional field, obtained abroad, in accordance with the provisions of OMENCȘ no. 5923/2016. This procedure respects the principles of legality, university autonomy, transparency, responsibility, and the ethical and deontological norms in force.

The provisions of this procedure apply to all faculties and doctoral schools within the structure of the University of Oradea (UO) and, respectively, Romanian citizens, citizens of member states of the European Union, of the European Economic Area, of the Swiss Confederation, and citizens from third countries who request recognition by IOSUD-UO of the doctoral diploma in sciences or in a professional field. The exercise of the rights conferred by the title of doctor in sciences and occupying a teaching position in the Romanian higher education system is carried out according to the legal norms in force.

The deadline for the evaluation and preparation of the acceptance or rejection Report of the application by the Doctoral School Council, to which the applicant's doctoral field is assigned, is 10 working days. The acceptance or rejection report of the application is endorsed by CSUD, within 5 working days from the receipt of the Report from the Doctoral School.
