The exercise of rights conferred by the status of doctoral supervisor and the occupation of a teaching position in the Romanian higher education system is carried out in accordance with the legal norms in force.
The procedure applies within the Technical University of Civil Engineering Bucharest for the automatic recognition of the status of doctoral supervisor obtained at accredited higher education institutions abroad, for applicants who have obtained the status of doctoral supervisor or habilitation at:

All applicants who do not fall into any of the situations mentioned above will address themselves directly to the National Center for Diploma Recognition and Equivalence within the ministry.
Applicants must hold the status of doctoral supervisor in one of the doctoral domains accredited at UTCB.
After receiving the favorable resolution from the CSD and the favorable opinion of the CSUD, the candidate will submit a request for affiliation to the UTCB Doctoral School, according to the Doctoral School Regulations. The affiliation request will be endorsed by the director of the department where the applicant will be employed. At the same time, the candidate will submit the original documents so that the copies submitted in the first stage can be validated as "in conformity with the original".
The UTCB Senate will issue a decision regarding the affiliation request and will grant the status of member of the UTCB Doctoral School.
