Regulation

The procedure establishes the method by which the automatic recognition, within Ioan Slavici University of Timișoara, of the status of doctoral supervisor obtained in accredited foreign higher education institutions is carried out.

Application

The provisions apply to Romanian citizens, citizens from member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, the Swiss Confederation, and citizens from third countries, who have obtained the status of doctoral supervisor in accredited higher education institutions from member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, the Swiss Confederation, and from prestigious universities in other countries included in the “List of prestigious universities from other countries,” approved by OMECTS no. 5825/2016 and periodically updated.

The profession of doctoral supervisor is found at position no. A.8 in Annex no. 2 of Law no. 200 of 2004 regarding the recognition of diplomas and professional qualifications for regulated professions in Romania, with subsequent amendments and completions.*
