The procedure presents the steps to follow and the documents that must be submitted for enrolling in the professional training program for the aspiring mountain rescuer in local and county Salvamont professional training centers.
The mountain rescuer profession can only be practiced by a certified individual who meets all the conditions provided in Government Decision no. 77/2003 regarding the establishment of measures for preventing mountain accidents and organizing mountain rescue activities.
Information regarding enrollment and the stages of professional training for individuals, Romanian citizens and citizens of a member state of the European Union or belonging to the European Economic Area or the Swiss Confederation, are presented and can be viewed here
For enrollment in the professional training program for the aspiring mountain rescuer in local and county Salvamont professional training centers, the applicant submits the necessary documents online or by post in copy, and will present them in original before taking the certification exam. The final documents will be sent in original, by post, to the applicant or, as the case may be, to the Salvamont service to which they belong.
