The professional internship represents the period at the beginning of practicing the profession and is intended for the initial training and professional development of the intern in order to obtain the signature right for the preparation of territorial planning and urbanism documentation or parts of documentation.

The procedure is addressed to specialists who have obtained their diplomas in Romania or in another EU member state.

The procedure allows the registration for the professional internship in the Registry of Urban Planners of Romania for the categories of graduates provided for by the Regulation on obtaining the signature right for urbanism and territorial planning documentation.

Through the PCUe Platform, the electronic internship registration file can be uploaded and the intern will receive a confirmation of their registration.

The internship period on the territory of Romania starts from the date of registration as an intern in the Registry of Urban Planners of Romania.

The above-mentioned specialists are required to complete 2 years of internship, except for those who have completed a master's program in the field, for whom the internship period is reduced by 1 year.
