The ascertainment of contraventions and the application of sanctions are carried out by authorized agents designated for this purpose by the president of ANRE, according to the provisions of Law no. 123/2012, with subsequent amendments and additions.
ANRE's authorized agents, depending on the severity of the determined act, may propose the following supplementary sanctions: a) suspension of the status of authorized installer, for a period of up to 6 months; b) withdrawal of the status of authorized installer, with the right to attend a new examination after a period of 3 years; c) withdrawal of the status of authorized installer, without the right to attend a new examination.

The appeal against the decision to suspend/withdraw the status of authorized installer is submitted by the person concerned to ANRE within 30 days from the date the ANRE decision is communicated.
ANRE resolves the appeal according to internal procedures, the decision being final. The ANRE decision can be challenged in the administrative court, according to the law. Sanctions are recorded in the electronic register of identification cards.
