The methodology establishes the manner in which automatic recognition is carried out, within the "Athenaeum" University of Bucharest, of teaching positions obtained abroad.
The Athenaeum University of Bucharest recognizes teaching positions obtained at:
a) accredited higher education or research and development institutions in a member state of the European Union, the European Economic Area, and the Swiss Confederation;
b) accredited higher education or research and development institutions included in the List of prestigious universities from other states, approved by order of the minister of national education and scientific research, updated periodically;
c) accredited higher education or research and development institutions that are subject to an international mutual recognition agreement, concluded at intergovernmental or inter-university level

The appeal against the rector's decision must be filed within 48 hours from the date it is issued. The decision of the committee resolving the appeal is issued within 48 hours from the date of filing. Subsequently, the university's final decision may be challenged in court.
