The methodology establishes the method by which automatic recognition is carried out within the "Athenaeum" University of Bucharest for teaching positions obtained abroad.
The Athenaeum University of Bucharest recognizes teaching positions obtained at:
a) accredited higher education or research and development institutions in a member state of the European Union, the European Economic Area, or the Swiss Confederation;
b) accredited higher education or research and development institutions included in the List of prestigious universities from other states, approved by an order of the Minister of National Education and Scientific Research, updated periodically;
c) accredited higher education or research and development institutions that are subject to an international mutual recognition convention concluded at intergovernmental or interuniversity level

The appeal against the rector’s decision must be registered within 48 hours from its issuance. The decision of the appeals committee is issued within 48 hours from the date of registration. Afterwards, the final decision of the university can be challenged in court.
