This procedure establishes the method by which Constantin Brâncuși University of Târgu-Jiu carries out the automatic recognition of the status of doctoral supervisor obtained in accredited higher education institutions abroad. The procedure applies to Romanian citizens and citizens from member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, and the Swiss Confederation who have obtained the status of doctoral supervisor in:

- accredited higher education or research and development institutions from member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, or the Swiss Confederation;

- accredited higher education or research and development institutions included in the “List of prestigious universities from other countries”, approved by OMECTS no. 5825/2016 and periodically updated, for the purpose of establishing in Romania;

- accredited higher education or research and development institutions subject to an international mutual recognition agreement, concluded at governmental or interuniversity level.

Submission of the file:

The recognition file can also be submitted directly by the applicant to the University Rectorate or sent by post to the following address: Constantin Brâncuși University of Târgu-Jiu, 1 Republicii Boulevard, postal code 210152, Târgu-Jiu, Romania. The file is registered at the University Registry and forwarded for resolution.
