The methodology for drafting and issuing the Current Professional Certificate was established by Decision of the National Council of C.F.R. no. 1/2007, decision published in the Official Gazette of Romania Part I no. 324 from 15.05.2007.

Below we present the main provisions of Decision no. 1/2007, as follows:
- The Current Professional Certificate will be issued by the College of Pharmacists of Romania and released by the territorial college where the applicant is registered;
- The validity of the Current Professional Certificate is 3 months from the date of issuance;
- Within a maximum of three days from receiving the request for the issuance of the Current Professional Certificate, the territorial college will send the standard application to the College of Pharmacists of Romania for drafting and issuing the document;
- Within a maximum of 30 days from receiving the application, C.F.R. will draft the certificate and send it to the territorial college;
- The Current Professional Certificate will be issued by the College of Pharmacists of Romania which will prepare and send it to the territorial college;
- The territorial college will keep a Register – with identifying data of the Current Professional Certificates issued to pharmacists in the respective county – and hand them to the applicants with signed receipt.

The fee for issuing the Current Professional Certificate, in the amount of 150 lei, according to Decision no.1/2018 published in the Official Gazette 1249 from 11.12.2024, will be paid in the account of the territorial College RO62BREL002000853680100 LIBRA BANK SIBIU.
